"Timetodoit" was originally a name a friend of mine wanted to have for his graffiti magazine but he never really used it so I asked him if I could use it as my nickname. He agreed so for the last 12 years I became Timetodoit. When I started my design work, I started to sign it with my real name "Duarte Pires" to make it sound more "credible" and "serious". Somehow it just feels wrong Ñ I don't want serious and credibility comes from the work, not the name. I want to feel free and relaxed. Design is fun and doing what you love it's not supposed to be too serious. Just like Confucius said: "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life." So heres the new "me". Below you may see the process of my own personal branding come to life.
